PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND :
From 1979 until 1983, Mr. Lehr was the Chief Prosecutor for Dade County Courts and Senior Trial Attorney in the Narcotics Division of the Office of the State Attorney, 11th Judicial District, in Miami, Florida. From 1982 to 1983, he was appointed to become a member of the Florida Governor's Task Force in Alcohol and Highway Safety. Mr. Lehr was also Chairman of the Attorney's Division at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation from 1991 until 1993, Chairman of the Anti-Defamation League Washington Affairs Committee in 1993, and Member of the Board of Directors Legal Services of Greater Miami from 1998 until 2003.
Worked for Janet Reno - Miami-Dade State Attorneys Office from 1979 through 1983.
Served as Chief Prosecutor of the Dade County Courts and Senior Trial Attorney of the Narcotics Division;
1983 to present private law practice as criminal defense attorney; Over 300 jury trials to date in State and Federal Courts;
From 2005 until the present, Mr. Lehr has held the position of Deputy Counsel to the Republican Party of Miami-Dade County.
Mr. Lehr is a member of The Florida Bar, Dade County and American Bar Associations, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.

State v. H. F. - Represented the Mayor of South Miami who was arrested the day before Elections Day and charged with accepting an illegal campaign donation. Entire conversation, including receiving check, was taped by undercover informant. Not Guilty verdict by jury;
United States v. L. F. - Defended L. F. in South Florida, who was alleged to have negotiated for the purchase of a Russian submarine allegedly in order to bring 40 tons of cocaine up the West Coast of the United States. Facing life in prison, was able to negotiate settlement. Released 30 days after testifying;
United States v. H. O. - Largest white-collar case in Florida history - $170 million dollar bank fraud case;
United States v. S. M. - Largest Ecstasy (narcotics) case ever tried in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida - 800,000 ecstasy pills;
State v. C. B. - Extremely high publicity case of 17 year old who was beaten on a school bus, and the following day alleged to have brought gun and shot schoolmate;
State v. J. C. G. - Man accused of rear ending and killing Trooper Rodney Smith while driving under the influence;
State v. J. P. - Man accused of first degree murder of Stacey Weinstein - a 12 year old North Miami Beach girl;
The largest federal drug case in Florida History - the defendant attempted to buy a Russian Submarine to transport 40 tons of cocaine up the west coast of the United States.
The largest federal white collar case in Florida - the defendant was accused of defrauding the Espirito Santo Bank of 170 million dollars.
